Q. Can you built a boat that is right for me?
A. We do not design boats but we will consider building any boat from Glen-L. Check out their designs at www.glen-l.com and let us know which one you would like. Or if you would like we can help you in the selection by suggesting some boats based on your preferences.
Q. Can I build a boat myself?
A. Yes! All that is needed is the desire, some basic tools, a place to work, and a good set of plans. You may want to read up on how it is actually done. These are the books that got me
started: "Go Build Your Own Boat!" by Harold H. 'Dynamite' Payson and "Boatbuilding With Plywood" by Glenn L. Witt. The rewards of building your own boat are greater than you might think.
Q. Can I put on the paint and finish?
A. Sure. Just let us know what you want and we do our best to accomodate you.
Q. I found some plans for a boat that I really like. Can you build it for me?
A. Absolutely, positively, definitely, maybe. We are certainly willing to take a look at the plans and evaluate them. We will then decide on a case by case basis. |
